Immense, intricate, improbably mobile; Geostation Kessler defies convention and description alike as it drifts between the stars. From its perch within an asteroid belt or in a host planet’s upper orbit, it reaches out its bright arms to gather up the detritus of the galaxy. From atmospheric contamination to broken satellites, launch window trash to stricken spacecraft: if it can be caught by a tractor beam, it will be drawn into Kessler to be scanned, categorized, cleaned and studied. Whatever Kessler finds, it keeps – or else sells to the highest bidder.

===Naming Conventions===
Following planetary naming conventions is optional, but helps mark someone as being a citizen of a planet.

Kesslerans will often have surnames relating to scientific paraphernalia, notable thinkers, or space travel, drawing strongly from common Human names. The may also affix their current major project, its goal, or a tool they use commonly on it.

Examples are: Alembic, Miasma, Phlogiston, Vaucan. The [https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/cosmic-names.php Cosmic Names Generator] and [https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/constellation-names.php Constellation Name Generator] are good resources for surnames, and project names may be anything but are frequently related to whatever junk they've sourced, for which the [https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/satellite-names.php Satellite Name Generator] is a good resource.

The most common naming structure is [title] [given name] [surname]-[project affix].
